Gym Rhythms
Synopsis
Gym Rhythms is a concept, a lifestyle and a life theme based on human movement, including wood cutting, rope climbing, boxing, cycling, etc, and rhythm. In this film physical exercise and drums symbiotic interaction is illustrated by an entire soundtrack performed with the right hand hitting the speed bag, and the left hand playing the drum against the ternary meter of the speed bag beat. This synchronicity between the two makes for a unique and interesting combination. Gym Rhythms shows that moves can be broken down into a set tempo, for precision, efficiency, and economy of movement sake, making a work out more than just a practice. It is also a creation, a piece of art.
The movie is approximately 15.7MB. To view, click here.
